My name is Christina Bennett. I formed this charity with a group of friends in February 2020 to help others who, like me, have cancer.  In 2019, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After 2 surgeries I was very relieved to be pronounced cancer-free.  I was fortunate in that my doctor was able to catch it early during a regular mammogram, and that the team at my local Hoag Hospital is amazing!

The mission for Just Cure It is to support those who were recently diagnosed or know people who were recently diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening diseases. Our goal is to help fight cancer on all levels – providing aid to those who have cancer, investing in preventative care (like the mammogram that saved me!), counseling, coaching others through their treatment plan, and much more.

100% of the monies we raise in 2024 will be donated to Breast Cancer Angels. This organization directly helps people undergoing treatment for breast cancer and their families by providing financial and emotional support.

When you are first diagnosed you have so many questions and feelings, and in past years we have supported The National Breast Cancer Foundation, that I found to be so informative and helpful at a key time in my life, and at least 75% of donated funds are used in cancer research and the charity's other aims.
